Job summary

CoreCivic seeks a Director, Enterprise Operations to define and execute the enterprise strategy for Cloud (IaaS/PaaS), hybrid and on-prem data centers. You will lead digital transformation, cloud migrations, and process automation (DevOps/CI-CD, IaC) while guiding a team across enterprise and storage systems.

The role oversees incident response, DR/BCP testing, and governance, ensuring high availability and SLA compliance. Domestic U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
5+ years of experience in IT Operations and infrastructure engineering and leadership of technical teams is required.
ITIL v3/v4 Foundation/Expert certification required.
MSCE certification is preferred.
Proficiency in enterprise server/storage systems and cloud services.

Responsibilities

Ensures high system availability, performance, and uptime against SLAs.
Oversees major incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery execution.
Drives ITL-aligned operations covering Change, Configuration, Capacity and Patch Management.
Partners with Security to implement robust security controls and compliance audits (SOC2).
Manages staff performance, training, and performance reviews.
Uses metrics to identify training opportunities for staff.
Leads enhanced technologies related to enterprise systems and storage.
Manages change management for patching and upgrades.
Develops procurement processes for enterprise components.
Directs enterprise technologies upgrades and retirement of equipment.
Maintains documentation to ensure availability of technology.
Travel within the U.S. may be required.
Follows CoreCivic project management methodology.
