Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Director of Enterprise Communications to guide the company’s enterprise narrative, technology communications, and corporate reputation. This role partners with senior leadership to craft messaging across executive engagements, internal and external audiences, and major announcements.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of corporate communications experience, a proven track record counseling executives, and strong leadership with the ability to manage complex

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate communications, executive communications or public relations.
• Proven ability to counsel senior executives and manage reputation.
• Excellent writing, messaging, and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Enterprise Communications to support executive communications for the President and other senior leaders.
• Develop positioning strategies, key messages, speeches, presentations, talking points, and thought leadership content.
• Coordinate communications initiatives across internal and external audiences.
• Advise senior leaders on communications strategy and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide strategic oversight for technology and AI communications initiatives.
• Translate complex business and tech topics into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Partner with technology leaders to support major announcements and visibility opportunities.
• Lead global communications efforts for Citizens' GCC in India.
• Help develop and manage Citizens' corporate narrative and strategic messaging platform.
• Ensure alignment across transformation, AI, modernization, and community impact initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to elevate Citizens' reputation through proactive storytelling.
• Support crisis preparedness and response with comprehensive comms plans.
• Lead coordination across teams to ensure messaging consistency and execution.
• Mentor and develop communications professionals across the organization.
