Job summary

Customers Bank is seeking a VP, Corporate Communications Director to shape and support our communications strategy, driving the public image and leading a dynamic team within Marketing & Communications.

You will partner with the CEO and executives to deliver strategic messaging across media, investor relations, and internal channels, while guiding crisis communications and external engagements.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years' experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for crafting engaging and clear narratives.
• Familiarity with media distribution and investor communications platforms a plus.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Proven success developing strategic communication plans and campaigns with measurable results.
• Experience collaborating with executives on messaging, media requests, and internal comms.

Responsibilities

• Shape and support corporate communications strategies aligned to enterprise priorities and brand positioning.
• Partner with Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal/Compliance, Product and People Experience to ensure consistent messaging.
• Develop core messaging architecture, executive talking points, and narrative frameworks for customers and stakeholders.
• Support media relations and reputation management in collaboration with leadership and external agencies.
• Act as a strategic communications partner to the CEO and senior leadership for key external engagements.
• Manage crisis communications, including message development and coordination.
• Assist investor-facing materials and earnings calls from script to production.
• Evolve storytelling formats and channels to maximize impact and audience engagement.
