Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Director of Enterprise Communications to lead the enterprise narrative, executive messaging, and technology communications. This senior counselor partners with the Head of Enterprise Communications to shape strategic storytelling that advances business priorities and strengthens the bank’s reputation.

Responsibilities include developing messages and speeches for the President, CIO, and other executives; guiding cross‑functional communications; and steering issues

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, public affairs, public relations, or related fields.
• Demonstrated success counseling senior executives and business leaders.
• Strong expertise in reputation management, issues management, and strategic communications.
• Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across a complex organization.
• Experience operating in highly regulated industries is preferred.
• The ability to navigate ambiguity, connect disparate initiatives, and translate strategy into action.
• Strong executive presence, business acumen, and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Executive Communications: Partner with the Head of Enterprise Communications to support communications for the President and other senior executives including the CIO and the Head of Enterprise Strategy.
• Develop executive positioning strategies, key messages, speeches, presentations, talking points, and thought leadership content.
• Coordinate communications initiatives across internal and external audiences.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communications strategy and stakeholder engagement.
