Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an Enterprise Application Delivery & Support Manager to lead delivery, support, and lifecycle management of a broad portfolio of enterprise applications. This onsite, full-time role requires hands-on leadership of technical teams, driving improvements, and ensuring critical apps remain reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, MIS, business, or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years leading technical or application support teams.
• Proven experience managing enterprise apps and SaaS through lifecycle, upgrades, and modernization.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to address complex app, project, and ops challenges.
• Experience managing tech vendors and MSPs, including contracts and SLAs.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• Strong understanding of application support and service management practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead application support and system administration teams for enterprise apps and SaaS.
• Oversee full lifecycle from implementations to retirement, with modernization.
• Set roadmaps and prioritize requests by business value and risk.
• Improve reliability, processes, documentation, and automation.
• Lead root-cause analysis of recurring issues and remediation.
• Partner with business and IT to ensure value from tech investments.
• Oversee vendors/MSPs, contracts, renewals, SLAs, and escalations.
• Participate in projects, production issues, releases, and strategic tech decisions.
• Identify technical debt and opportunities for modernization.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Infra, Architecture, Dev, and business units on security and regulatory needs.
• Communicate issues, risks, and priorities to leadership.
• Promote effective app support and service management practices across the org.
