Humana seeks a Lead Enterprise Architect to govern an enterprise API ecosystem, drive standardized architecture, and promote reusable integration patterns. You will shape API design, security, and platform strategy across multi-cloud environments while guiding AI-enabled governance across the lifecycle.

You will partner with architecture, security, data, and business teams to accelerate adoption, reduce risk, and improve velocity through standardized practices and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years as senior architect or technical lead in large-scale enterprise systems.
• 8+ years in API architecture, integration, or application development.
• Strong experience with API governance frameworks and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with API management platforms (Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway).
• Expertise in API security standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS).
• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational standards for APIs and microservices.
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve enterprise API architecture, design patterns, and standards.
• Lead enterprise-wide API governance and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, data, and business teams to drive adoption of API standards.
• Build and scale enterprise API platforms enabling developer self-service and catalog discovery.
• Develop AI-enabled governance capabilities across the API lifecycle.
• Define reference architectures for modern integration patterns (Event-driven, microservices, LLM integration).
• Architect and operationalize agentic ecosystems and MCP-based integrations.
• Establish governance metrics and KPIs for adoption, maturity, and compliance.
• Design executive dashboards and reporting on API health and outcomes.
• Lead prototypes and evaluate emerging API, AI, and integration tech.
