Job summary

JLL in the United States is seeking a Senior Energy & Sustainability Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive energy management and decarbonization programs for a client portfolio.

Reporting to the Sustainable Operations Director, you will oversee energy data governance, drive energy savings and carbon footprint reduction, and optimize utility costs across facilities.

Qualifications

• Lead energy management and decarbonization initiatives on client site(s).
• Develop and deliver KPI-driven energy savings and carbon reduction programs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reporting cadence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility energy audits and identify high-impact ECMs.
• Evaluate viability, lifecycle costs (LCCA) and ROI for proposed projects.
• Draft comprehensive technical scopes for retrofits and capital improvements.
• Implement M&V frameworks to verify savings and report performance.
• Identify and secure external rebates and government decarbonization grants.
• Oversee energy data collection and produce monthly/quarterly client reports tailored to needs.
