Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Manager for Managed Energy & Procurement Strategy in Cleveland to lead electricity and natural gas procurement strategies for commercial and industrial clients. You will serve as a subject-matter expert, manage market exposure and budgets, and shape a scalable offering through analytics and tooling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use data, technology, and AI to deliver insights, optimize procurement, and enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in energy procurement or related field (consulting, markets, risk management).
• Strong understanding of deregulated electricity and natural gas markets.
• Experience developing procurement, hedging, or risk-management strategies for commercial and industrial customers.
• Ability to interpret market data and translate analysis into practical recommendations; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced analytical capabilities with Excel and data-driven decision making.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage electricity and natural gas procurement strategies for commercial and industrial clients.
• Monitor contracts, market exposure, budgets, renewal timelines, and procurement opportunities.
• Analyze energy market trends and provide strategic hedging and purchasing recommendations.
• Serve as a technical advisor in client meetings, explaining complex energy concepts clearly.
• Create and maintain risk-management frameworks, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Lead scalable managed-energy processes, reporting standards, and analytical tools.
• Partner with sales, account management, pricing, and operations to support client success.
• Leverage data, technology, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and reporting.
