Job summary

EnergyLink Sourcing LLC, the centralized supply chain arm of Quanta Services, is hiring Buyers at multiple levels to strengthen procurement for large-scale energy projects in Houston. You will handle sourcing, negotiating, and delivering materials, while developing expertise in core purchasing processes and supplier management.

The role emphasizes hands-on strategic procurement within a fast-paced, project-driven environment with opportunities for advancement and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.).
• Negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills that grow in complexity by level.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead purchasing activities for project materials and equipment—from sourcing through PO execution and delivery to sites.
• Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely release to suppliers.
• Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and negotiate favorable terms.
• Coordinate logistics and expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery to construction sites.
