EnergyLink Sourcing LLC, the centralized supply chain arm of Quanta Services, seeks a Buyer I to procure materials and equipment for critical infrastructure projects. You will manage the full purchasing cycle from order planning to vendor performance, collaborating with category managers, planners, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 1 year purchasing, planning, or related supply chain experience.
• APICS or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Clear and confident communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute purchase orders based on requisitions, project schedules, BOMs, and inventory.
• Monitor order status, resolve delivery issues, and communicate impacts to planners and PMs.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely fulfillment and compliance with site requirements.
• Analyze system data to reflect accurate cost, lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.
• Identify supply risks and propose alternatives to keep material flow steady.
• Conduct RFx activities for non-strategic items and negotiate terms.
• Manage data accuracy and use sourcing tools to improve value and service.
• Maintain project tracking pages and coordinate supplier delivery updates.
• Interface with operations, project teams, and supply chain partners to resolve challenges.
