Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking an Energy Efficiency / Demand Response Program Manager to lead energy solutions and initiatives, coordinating with internal and external teams to meet annual regulatory kWh savings targets within approved budgets and plans.

The role requires strong program management, contract oversight with external vendors, cross‑functional collaboration, risk management, and the ability to prioritize multiple priorities in a regulated environment, while maintaining focus on customer

Qualifications

• 4‑year accredited degree preferred with additional consideration for advanced degrees/certifications
• Strong project and/or program management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and workflow/QC processes
• Demonstrated experience leading across multiple organizations to achieve effective outcomes
• Knowledge of regulated energy efficiency or demand response programs and direct customer/contractor interaction

Responsibilities

• Manage at least one energy solution program with accountability for participation, energy savings, customer satisfaction, and regulatory targets
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Assist with vendor contract development and performance monitoring
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Evaluation, Regulatory, Data Analytics, Customer Care, Legal, Supply Chain
• Develop, track, and communicate KPIs, forecasts, participation trends and budget impacts
• Support program design and evaluation with Design and Evaluation teams
• Educate external stakeholders about energy efficiency opportunities and drive program participation
• Lead regular performance reviews with implementation partners and drive accountability
