Job summary

Georgia Power seeks an Energy Efficiency / Demand Response Program Manager to lead energy solution programs, meet regulatory kWh savings targets, and manage budgets. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance and customer experience excellence.

You will design, monitor, and optimize programs, manage contracts, and report performance to leadership while navigating a regulated environment and external stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• 4-year accredited degree preferred with consideration for advanced degrees/certifications
• Strong project/program management skills incl. budgeting and forecasting
• Experience leading across multiple organizations to achieve outcomes
• Knowledge of regulated energy efficiency or demand response programs and customer/contractor interaction

Responsibilities

• Lead an energy solution program with accountability for participation, energy savings, customer satisfaction and regulatory targets
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Assist with vendor contracts, onboarding, and performance monitoring to achieve objectives
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external organizations to track data, report, and market programs
• Assess and mitigate risk with QA/verification strategies and compliance with plans
• Develop and communicate KPIs, forecasts, participation trends, and budget impacts
• Support program design and evaluation with Design and Evaluation teams
• Lead vendor performance reviews using data and contracts to drive accountability
• Identify opportunities to improve program design, workflows, and cost-effectiveness
• Resolve escalated issues balancing customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance
