Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking an Employee Relations Program Administrator to provide strategic and operational leadership within the ER Office. The role designs educational outreach, manages projects, and guides strategic planning across UNLV and NSHE, acting as a connector to stakeholders and advancing a collaborative, respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of related experience.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of related professional experience and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Eligibility for degree equivalency: four additional years of experience for an associate’s degree or two additional years for receipt of an associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs and initiatives that enhance the functions of the ER Office.
• Oversee program operations and coordinate the office’s workshops and trainings.
• Ensure effective customer-service operations.
• Support the creation and implementation of strategic goals and initiatives.
• Provide regular operational updates to the Employee Relations Director and Specialists when needed.
• Participate in strategic planning and provide guidance to remain compliant with state, federal, and university mandates.
• Implement educational outreach efforts to improve employee relations.
• Manage special projects and improve workflow efficiencies.
