Form Energy is building a strategic Employee Relations function and seeking a leader who will own investigations, policy development, and cross‑functional collaboration to support a growing workforce. Reporting to the SVP, People, you will design the ER framework from the ground up and handle complex cases with fairness and precision.

This hybrid role requires onsite work at multiple locations and relocation where needed, with a focus on building durable processes and people‑centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Employee Relations experience with complex investigations.
• Experience building or scaling an ER function from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state employment law, investigation methodology, and documentation standards.
• Strong judgment, empathy, and objectivity in high-stakes situations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leaders and employees.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a high‑volume ER caseload with thorough investigations.
• Design and stand up Form Energy's ER function and playbooks.
• Advise senior leaders on ER strategy, risk, and precedent.
• Coach managers to address ER issues early with real‑time guidance.
• Develop HR policies ensuring lawful, consistent company practices.
• Build reporting to track case trends and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Legal, EHS, and other COEs to embed ER guidance.
