Job summary

Dayforce is seeking an Employee Relations Manager II to support leaders and HR partners in delivering fair, compliant employee relations across North America. Under general supervision, you will guide performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conduct.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR leadership on escalated matters, coach leaders on difficult conversations, and help with restructures and reductions in force, while maintaining confidential case files.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in employee relations or HR.
• Experience handling performance management across North America.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and HR partners on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Support workforce adjustments, redundancies, and conduct allegations.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and employment practices.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR leadership on escalated matters.
• Coach leaders on conflict resolution and difficult conversations.
• Support restructures and reductions in force with risk assessment.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and reporting compliance.
