Job summary

Early Warning is seeking an Employee Relations Director to lead complex investigations, manage high‑risk matters, and advise senior leaders across the organization. You will standardize processes, maintain confidentiality, and partner with Legal, Risk and HRBPs to strengthen the employee experience.

Based in New York or other listed locations with a hybrid schedule, you will analyze case trends, drive policy interpretation, and shape enterprise employee relations practices across the company.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience typically obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders to help drive people strategies.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and manages ambiguity.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to engage across levels.
• Develops trusted relationships and consults in a qualitative and quantitative manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex, sensitive workplace investigations with thorough documentation.
• Manage an active portfolio of employee relations cases from intake to resolution.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on performance, conduct, and policy interpretation.
• Assess matters for legal, regulatory, and reputational risk and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Establish standards and best practices for investigation and case management.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend proactive HR solutions.
• Develop programs and interventions to strengthen leadership and employee experience.
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws and evolving workplace practices.
