Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking an Employee Relations Officer in Boston to support the North America ER team with workplace investigations and performance management across Associate, Officer, and AVP populations.

You will guide managers and HR partners on improvement plans, coaching documentation, and ER processes while maintaining case notes, confidentiality, and adherence to laws and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Employee Relations, HR, investigations, or related field.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of ER practices and policies.
• Strong judgement, written/verbal communication, and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support investigations, performance management, attendance and routine ER matters for multiple client groups.
• Provide guidance to managers and HR Partners on PIP, coaching, counseling memoranda, and ER documentation.
• Maintain case notes, ensure complete files, and escalate complex or high-risk issues as needed.
