Job summary

OneDigital is seeking an experienced Benefits Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to employer clients across Virginia, Maryland, and DC. You’ll evaluate benefit strategies, lead renewals, analyze plans, and present competitive solutions, while supporting new business opportunities with prospective clients.

You will work with a team of professionals to ensure successful implementation, enrollment, and ongoing administration, leveraging CRM and benefits platforms to deliver strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in employee benefits or benefits consulting.
• Experience with small to midsize employer groups.
• Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
• Experience presenting strategies to clients.
• License (Life & Health) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Client Consulting & Relationship Management with employer clients.
• Identify new client opportunities and participate in discovery meetings.
• Lead renewal strategy and develop renewal options with clients.
• Explain level-funded vs fully insured and funding arrangements.
• Provide benefit design and market analysis across medical, dental, vision, life and disability.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and renewal discussions.
• Collaborate with producers, account managers and carriers.
• Maintain client data in CRM and benefit systems.
