Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing technology manufacturing organization in Hudson County, NJ, seeking a Procurement Buyer to support supply chain operations and drive supply demand in a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will ensure material availability, mitigate supply risks, and support operational excellence by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams on inventory, scheduling, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing electrical, electronic, semi-conductor, or automotive components from international and domestic suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and fulfillment processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with suppliers to maintain healthy inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage end-to-end supply and demand planning activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support inventory management, production schedules, and logistics.
• Analyze shortages, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, quality standards, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics and ensure operational continuity.
