Aquent Talent is seeking an experienced Buyer to support our client’s supply chain by managing suppliers, portfolios, and purchase orders. You will monitor material availability, plan requirements, and help mitigate risks across production schedules.

The role emphasizes ownership, strong analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Commodity Management, and Supply Chain leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Buyer or direct procurement professional.
• Experience purchasing production materials and components, including electronics.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for PO execution, rescheduling, and tracking.
• Strong analytics and ability to communicate across suppliers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials and equipment from suppliers (electromechanical assemblies, PCBAs, hardware).
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor KPIs for leadership.
• Provide procurement data for monthly scorecards and quarterly reviews.
• Plan material requirements and maintain accurate supply and delivery schedules in ERP.
• Communicate forecasts and material needs clearly to suppliers.
• Identify supply risks and communicate mitigation strategies.
