The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, with strong analytical and negotiation skills; familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.
• 3–7 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment; electronics background desirable.
• Experience applying analytical skills to negotiate with suppliers.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; ability to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase components using cost-competitive options.
• Support product development through on-time sourcing.
• Negotiate to achieve best-in-class pricing and build supplier relationships.
• Coordinate procurement activities for raw materials, tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional colleagues to resolve supply disruptions.
• Maintain and improve procurement procedures.
