Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct purchasing/procurement experience.
• Knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and quality processes.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire order process from proposal review to delivery verification and payment approval.
• Research and select cost-competitive, high-quality suppliers; issue RFQs and negotiate contracts.
• Visit suppliers for audits and meetings; monitor performance and supplier compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers; monitor market trends and costs.
• Manage data accuracy in ERP/MRP, and report pricing and supplier information.
• Control inbound freight costs and monitor standard costs with cross-functional teams.
• Expedite orders as needed and communicate delivery issues promptly.
