Job summary

HMH is seeking a Strategic Education Solutions Director / Solution Architect Director to support Field Sales with high-stakes analytics and value-selling strategies. You will build key district relationships, present custom analytics, and guide solution recommendations to expand opportunities.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 80%), senior district leadership experience, and strong data interpretation and communication skills to align district priorities with HMH solutions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. is preferred for this senior leadership role in K-12 education.
• Minimum five years in a senior-level district leadership or equivalent role.
• Proven ability to translate district priorities into actionable strategies.
• Strong executive relationship building with senior educational leaders.
• Excellent data interpretation and strategic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Sales using analytics and value-selling strategies to drive sales.
• Develop and present custom gap analytics to meet district needs.
• Recommend HMH solutions aligned with district priorities.
• Lead mid-year and end-of-year presentations to drive expansion.
• Build relationships with district leadership to facilitate the sales process.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to draft comprehensive district plans.
• Coordinate with local teams to develop strategic plans based on data.
• Maintain ongoing customer contact to support advocacy and expansion.
• Oversee SA team scheduling, Salesforce research, and outreach efforts.
• Provide internal training and onboarding for SA team members.
• Develop supplemental analytics using advanced tools (e.g., SPSS).
• Act as liaison to streamline cross-division communications and processes.
