Job summary

Ameren Corporation is seeking a Program Supervisor, Economic Development in St. Louis to design and manage programs that strengthen readiness across Ameren Missouri’s territory.

You will work with communities, economic development groups, developers, site selectors, and internal partners to create strategies, align infrastructure planning, and leverage funding opportunities for business attraction and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (e.g. Business, Economic Development, Urban and Regional Planning, Engineering, GIS, Public Administration, Real Estate Development, Construction Management).
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in economic development or related fields.
• Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders and public-private partnerships.
• Certification in economic development or planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement economic development capacity-building programs and strategies across Ameren Missouri's service territory.
• Partner with local governments, developers, consultants, and stakeholders to identify initiatives.
• Lead programs to improve inventory and competitiveness of development-ready sites.
• Coordinate site readiness, due diligence, and infrastructure planning activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Transmission, Operations and other partners to align utility infrastructure with development goals.
• Identify and evaluate funding opportunities, grants, and development programs.
