The Major Gifts Officer, Family Advancement at Focus on the Family cultivates relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporations to support the ministry. You will communicate the vision and initiatives, thank donors for gifts, and keep supporters informed about projects while serving as a resource for their ministry needs.

This role requires travel across an assigned territory (at least 88 days per year), develops new donor networks, speaks at events, designs giving programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
• Strong donor relationship and fundraising experience desirable.
• Ability to travel and manage a geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a geographic territory with travel of ~88 days per year.
• Develops new donor networks and Friends of the ministry.
• Speaks on behalf of Focus on the Family at events to deepen donor connections.
• Maintains positive donor relationships and aligns giving with ministry initiatives.
• Organizes donor events and prepares reports and updates.
