Job summary

ITW Car Care, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), seeks a senior financial leader to drive strategic growth and financial performance across brands like Rain-X, Black Magic and Gumout.

The role requires guiding senior leadership, building a high-performing finance team, and embedding data-driven decision making into long-range planning and daily operations. Strong manufacturing/plant controller experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, cost reduction, inventory costing and control, and financial statement management.
• Minimum of 5 years in a financial management role with direct people leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams; manufacturing plant controller experience preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering business results and driving profitable growth; data forecasting and market trend use.
• Strong background as a strategic business partner influencing senior leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous, above-market growth through strong financial leadership and insight-driven decision making.
• Advise and guide leadership on financial implications of key business decisions across product, customer, promotion, and people strategies.
• Partner on development and execution of annual and long-range strategic plans.
• Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to influence business direction and performance.
• Lead initiatives to achieve operational excellence, including process simplification and efficiency improvements.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing and diverse finance team.
