Job summary

ITW Permatex seeks a senior finance leader to drive planning, forecasting, and financial operations in a decentralized manufacturing setting. You will partner across departments to improve growth, margins, cash flow and ROI while embedding ITW’s business discipline.

The role requires 8+ years in finance with people leadership, strong Excel and ERP/BI experience, and willingness to travel up to 20%. You will mentor a high-performing team and influence strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years progressive finance or accounting experience including planning, forecasting, cost accounting, internal controls.
• 5+ years financial management with direct people leadership responsibility.
• Manufacturing finance experience in a decentralized environment preferred.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills, ability to translate data into action.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills; experience with JD Edwards, BI tools; travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP/GM and leadership to provide financial insight for annual and long-range plans, pricing, product decisions, and investments.
• Lead FP&A activities: monthly outlooks, quarterly reviews, annual plan, and long-range planning with clear actions.
• Prepare and communicate monthly results, variance analysis, forecasts, and performance metrics for decisions.
• Oversee accounting and financial operations, including general and cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets, and internal controls.
• Collaborate across functions to improve growth, margins, cash flow, ROI, and evaluate capital projects, pricing, and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Apply ITW Business Model and 80/20 thinking to simplify processes and build a high-performing Finance team.
