ITW Permatex seeks a senior finance leader to drive planning, forecasting, and financial operations in a decentralized manufacturing setting. You will partner across departments to improve growth, margins, cash flow and ROI while embedding ITW’s business discipline.

The role requires 8+ years in finance with people leadership, strong Excel and ERP/BI experience, and willingness to travel up to 20%. You will mentor a high-performing team and influence strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years progressive finance or accounting experience including planning, forecasting, cost accounting, internal controls.
• 5+ years financial management with direct people leadership responsibility.
• Manufacturing finance experience in a decentralized environment preferred.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills, ability to translate data into action.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills; experience with JD Edwards, BI tools; travel up to 20%.

What You Will Do

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, MBA, or another advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, cost accounting, internal controls, and operational accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience with direct people leadership responsibility, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Manufacturing finance experience. Experience as a Plant Controller, Division Controller, or finance leader in a decentralized manufacturing business is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data, identify key drivers, influence across functions, exercise sound judgment, and translate insights into practical action.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills, high integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to protect confidential information and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines. Experience with JD Edwards, business intelligence, forecasting, or dashboard tools is preferred. Ability to travel up to 20%.
