The Leadership Academy seeks a Senior Director, District Partnerships to lead complex K-12 district opportunities from first conversation through signed contracts. This hands-on role writes persuasive proposals, develops pricing, and navigates public-sector procurement with confidence, focusing on NYC procurement fluency and cross-functional collaboration.

The role reports to the Executive Director, Business Development & Finance, and partners across Finance, Client Services, and Staffing to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five+ years of experience selling professional services to K-12 districts or education agencies.
• Experience owning complex district sales and procurement processes.
• Experience leading RFP responses from strategy to contract execution.
• Ability to tailor proposals to district buyers’ priorities.
• Pricing and budgeting experience and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of district operating environments and funding considerations.
• Strong proposal writing, verbal communication, and relationship management.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with business-development, project-management, and AI-enabled tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead opportunities from early cultivation through contract execution.
• Evaluate RFPs for alignment, capacity, viability, and success likelihood.
• Develop persuasive, client-specific proposals detailing approach and impact.
• Shape strategy based on district context and procurement requirements.
• Develop pricing and budgets; negotiate terms with Finance and other teams.
• Address documentation, approvals, timelines, and compliance needs.
• Build and sustain relationships with district and education-agency clients.
