Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Control.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Six Sigma knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct materials management, shipping/receiving, warehousing and inventory control for the plant.
• Lead and develop the team with performance metrics and annual reviews.
• Manage inventory levels, safety stocks and cycles.
• Coordinate with Scheduler, Quality Control and Operations to track production and material flow.
• Drive cost control and continuous improvement initiatives such as COS/kaizen.
