Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products, has an immediate opening at the Greenville, IL location for a Distribution Manager. This role leads shipping/receiving, material procurement, and inventory control with emphasis on safety and cost reduction.

The position requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge, plus collaboration with Operations, Sales and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control.
• APICS Certification preferred; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and control materials management, shipping/receiving, warehousing and inventory control.
• Manage team performance through metrics, reviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee inventory levels, safety stocks and cycle counts.
• Lead annual physical inventory and develop process improvements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Sales and Logistics.
