Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a General Manager II for Distribution to oversee warehouse operations and drive strategic process improvements. You will lead Operations Managers and staff, ensure safety, and manage vendor relationships while aligning with the commercial agreement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• 3PL/contract logistics experience preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping) efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff; foster a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean, and productive environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory and monitor performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost‑effective services per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics to inform decisions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and strive for high customer satisfaction.
• Own the site's P&L; influence profitability through customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to the customer.
