Job summary

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Disease State Training to craft and execute a comprehensive disease state training strategy for US Field Commercial Roles.

You will blend strategic planning with hands-on development to build high-impact learning solutions that strengthen field readiness and commercial effectiveness. You will collaborate with the Director, Disease State Training and cross-functional leaders to align content with brand strategy, compliance, and clinical landscape,

Qualifications

• RN required.
• 6-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in training, commercial learning, sales training, disease state education, field capability building, or biopharmaceutical learning and development.
• Experience supporting training plans/roadmaps aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong experience supporting Field Commercial Roles with training solutions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Regulatory, Marketing, Market Access, and Training teams.
• Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and business strategies into practical learning solutions.
• Capability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities with execution discipline.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel; virtual training via Zoom; content management in LMS.
• Independent problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support disease state training strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Design, develop, review, facilitate, and continuously improve disease state training materials.
• Create curricula to build field capability in disease education, clinical landscape, and treatment paradigms.
• Identify capability gaps and develop learning solutions to improve field performance.
• Plan annual learning priorities, timelines, and execution plans.
• Deliver learning experiences across instructor-led, virtual, self-directed, and digital formats.
• Ensure training content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Onboard and train field commercial audiences with structured learning journeys.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory, privacy, and quality compliance.
• Track training completion and measure effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with external vendors for content development when needed.
