Leonardo DRS Land Systems in West Plains, MO seeks a full-time Director of Supply Chain to lead planning, materials management, and inventory across Land Systems sites in Bridgeton and West Plains.

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, you will translate program and financial goals into integrated demand, supply, and production strategies while driving improvements in material availability and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business, or engineering; minimum 10 years in high technology, aerospace or defense or equivalent
• Leadership experience in materials management, planning, and inventory management
• Proven track record improving material availability, inventory accuracy, schedule performance, and inventory productivity in complex environments
• Experience across the product lifecycle from new product introduction through sustainment and obsolescence
• Expert knowledge of demand and supply planning, master scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, inventory control, and ERP systems
• Experience partnering with site leadership, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Compliance, and Corporate Supply Chain
• Working knowledge of DoD requirements, FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR
• Strong understanding of inventory and material cost accounting, working capital drivers, and KPIs
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting
• Excellent presentation, leadership, and written/oral communication skills

Responsabilités

• Lead Land Systems planning, materials, and inventory management, establishing priorities and ensuring execution across sites
• Direct demand and supply planning, master scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, and ERP data discipline
• Improve material availability and production readiness by resolving shortages and coordinating replenishment
• Oversee planning and materials management from proposal through production and end-of-life
• Establish inventory targets and lead optimization, cycle counting, and physical inventories
• Conduct operating reviews and implement working capital improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with DoD, regulatory, and company requirements with strong internal controls
• Partner with Finance, Engineering, Operations, IT, Procurement and Program Management to resolve constraints
• Develop planning talent through coaching, training, and accountability
• Provide oversight for procurement, warehousing, and logistics; drive continuous improvement
• Support supplier selection, cost analysis, and contract compliance to meet quality and schedule objectives
• Monitor supplier performance and strategic processes from pricing to material shipment
• Promote company mission and values across teams
