Job summary

Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead purchasing, warehousing, inventory, and logistics for NOEC electric operations and BOLT broadband operations. You will manage vendor relationships, material controls, and internal controls to source, receive, store, track, and dispose of materials cost-effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing, inventory, warehousing, materials management, logistics, or related operations, including supervisory or leadership responsibility.
• Experience in an electric utility, broadband/telecommunications provider, cooperative, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or asset-intensive environment preferred
• Working knowledge of electric utility or broadband/telecommunications materials
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and inventory management systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data analysis
• Strong negotiation, judgment, problem-solving, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated supply chain plan supporting material, equipment, and service needs for NOEC and BOLT operations.
• Translate forecasts, capital plans, maintenance schedules, construction plans, and operational needs into sourcing, inventory, and delivery plans.
• Lead material-readiness planning to identify shortages, long-lead risks, and excess inventory.
• Direct purchasing activities, including requisitions, quotes or bids, purchase orders, approvals, expediting, and order closure.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, contracts, pricing, warranties, and performance to support cost-effective operations.
• Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, staging, transfers, and disposition of materials to maintain accuracy.
• Establish inventory levels, reorder points, safety stock, and constraints based on usage and capacity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ERP reconciliation, and management of excess or obsolete materials.
