Job summary

Hampton City Schools is seeking an Executive Director-level administrator to oversee student support services, attendance programs, SEL, and school climate initiatives. You will lead multi-team efforts to design, implement, and evaluate tiered supports and wellness services across schools and communities.

The role requires a master's (doctorate preferred) with 3+ years in educational administration, strong leadership, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a school principal or educational administrator.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct a comprehensive student support program.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and administer system-wide budgets and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead processes and teams to design and implement student support programs.
• Oversee tiered supports, social emotional learning, behavior and wellness.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and pursue continuous improvement.
• Maintain records on attendance, behavior and school climate.
• Collaborate with other divisions and community agencies for partnerships.
• Develop strategic plans to improve school culture and staff wellbeing.
• Monitor budgets and ROI for programs and services.
• Communicate with parents, students and central office personnel.
