AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Director of Planning and Production Control to oversee production planning, inventory management and material flow.

You will align schedules with demand, optimize resources and lead a team across departments to meet on-time delivery goals. You will drive improvements in planning processes, collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and sales, and monitor KPIs while managing the department budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years in related field.
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing planning and production control.
• Deep knowledge of SIOP, MRP, master scheduling and capacity planning.
• Experience with ERP, APS and data analytics tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize resources.
• Oversee master production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and materials.
• Direct inventory control for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times and costs.
• Lead and mentor planning and production control team.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, engineering and sales.
• Monitor risks and KPIs; report to senior leadership.
• Manage department budget and cost control.
• Leverage APS and ERP tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards and safety.
