Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, invites a Director of Learning and Development to drive leadership development, onboarding, mentorship, and employee training across the organization. This hybrid role in Plymouth, MN partners with HR leadership and other Daikin entities to implement strategic, scalable learning solutions that advance careers and performance.

The position oversees program design, governance, metrics and external content, with a focus on modern learning modalities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design, development and deployment of leadership development programs.
• 6+ years leading learning & development programs.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HR, L&D, Education, Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design and governance of learning programs for leadership and ICs.
• Design scalable L&D programs including onboarding, coaching, mentorship and leadership development.
• Establish L&D metrics and accountability for delivery.
• Incorporate diverse learning modalities (Pathway, VR, micro-learning, ILT, on-the-job).
• Collaborate with HR and other Daikin entities to deliver cross‑functional learning.
• Partner with HR Tech to leverage deployment and tooling.
