Job summary
Stanbridge University seeks a strategic and hands-on Director of Information & Security (DOIS) to lead cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems governance, and enterprise technology operations. This on-site leadership role requires partnering with executive leadership and departments to safeguard systems and data while advancing technology initiatives that support academic innovation.
The DOIS will oversee IAM, MFA, incident response, disaster recovery, and policy development, ensuring compliance
Qualifications
- On-site in Irvine, CA, full-time leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/cybersecurity/compsci or related field.
- 7+ years IT leadership with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and risk management.
- Oversee infrastructure operations, cloud environments, and endpoint security.
- Ensure FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI-DSS compliance for higher education.
- Provide executive-level reporting on cybersecurity posture and budgets.
