Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks an Executive Director for Development for Endowment Services and Gift Operations to lead the Endowment Services and Gift Compliance team on the UT Austin campus.

This senior role reports to the University Development Office and supervises staff, guides donor relations, and partners across campus with a focus on endowment governance and strategic use of philanthropic funds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Experience in endowment administration or gift compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Endowment Services and Gift Compliance staff; plan, oversee, and approve their duties and projects.
  • Advise Deans, CSU finance teams, and gift officers on endowment compliance and usage.
  • Participate in ongoing implementation and development of SPUR CRM for Endowments and Prospect Management.
  • Identify and implement tools to increase scalability and automate workflows.
  • Oversee naming and endowed gift policies and reviews across campus.
