Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship to provide strategic leadership for stewardship programs, donor recognition and impact reporting across Texas Development. This role oversees senior donor relations, campus partnerships and cross-functional initiatives to support fundraising priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of progressive experience in donor relations, stewardship, advancement, or nonprofit fundraising.
Demonstrated success managing stewardship for major/principal-level donors.
Strong writing and executive-level correspondence skills.
Experience using CRM/donor database systems to analyze data and inform strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic stewardship, donor recognition and impact reporting initiatives.
Oversee a portfolio of top-tier donors and programmatic stewardship plans.
Collaborate with development officers and campus units to align stewardship with fundraising priorities.
Manage and mentor the Stewardship team, setting performance expectations and development plans.
Coordinate donor communications, acknowledgements and impact storytelling with Marketing.
