Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Director of Donor Relations and Engagement to provide strategic leadership for donor engagement programs and to advance fundraising priorities across campus, regional and international settings.

Reporting to the Executive Director for Donor Relations, you will lead engagement strategy, oversee volunteers and donor experiences, build dashboards, collaborate with development officers, and drive stewardship and recognition to grow giving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive donor relations, stewardship or nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Strong writing skills and experience with CRM/donor data to guide strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for donor engagement programs and campaigns.
• Lead engagement strategy for presidential boards, donor societies and events.
• Oversee volunteer leadership, governance and donor relations initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development officers and university leadership to advance fundraising priorities.
• Ensure stewardship and recognition activities strengthen donor connections.
