Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Compliance Program Coordinator to support daily Endowment Services and Gift Compliance operations. You will assist with strategic planning, monitor endowment activity, and liaise with colleges, schools, and UT System offices on compliance projects.

Responsibilities include designing tracking databases, preparing quarterly/annual reports, and coordinating with IT and campus staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years related experience; strong attention to detail; ability to interpret donor intent from gift agreements and related documents; ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively; working with Excel and data reports; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Compliance & Reporting to plan, organize, and implement annual review of UT Austin endowments to ensure compliance with expenditures and appointments.
• Implement compliance monitoring activities and maintain tracking documents and databases.
• Review and track co-sponsorships, transfers, and sub-accounts for endowment accounts.
• Communicate with college/school/unit personnel regarding compliance questions.
• Identify and develop endowment and gift reporting needs; liaison with staff in CSUs.
• Prepare and proof quarterly and annual compliance reports.
• Maintain and modify compliance-related databases and files.
• Consult with IT support and RAD on monitoring/reporting needs.
• Serve as backup for VIP appointments and endowment recipient entries.
• Interpret gift and donor endowment policies with colleges and units.
• Assist with non-endowed compliance and Texas Challenge Match tracking.
• Attend Executive Compliance Committee meetings and take minutes.
• Assist with UTIMCO Financial Reports project; manage fund transfers/withdrawals.
