The Senior Director of Development at YWCA South Florida leads fundraising initiatives, building strong donor relationships and advancing the organization’s mission through creative strategies.

This role oversees all fund development activities—from donor acquisition and major gifts to grants and events—and reports to the CEO, guiding the development team to meet annual revenue goals. In-Person, full-time position based in Miami.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4–6 years nonprofit fundraising experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with donor engagement, grant writing, and events is a plus.

Mansioni

• Oversees the development strategy to increase annual revenue and strengthen donor relationships.
• Manages donor acquisition, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans.
• Leads major gifts, corporate foundations, grants, and endowment activities.
• Plans and executes fundraising events and campaigns to maximize impact.
• Guides VIP cultivation and communications with Board and key partners.
• Supervises Development Department staff and budgeting for fundraising efforts.
