Job summary

YWCA Missoula is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising, marketing and communications initiatives that advance the organization's mission and sustain its impact.

The role translates strategic priorities into a comprehensive development strategy, expanding philanthropic support while partnering with the Executive Director, Fund Development team and board of directors to drive annual and planned giving, grants, major gifts and key fundraising campaigns.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit management required.
• High school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM systems, spreadsheets, word processing and digital communications required.
• Experience supervising staff and managing donor relationships required.
• Current Montana driver's license, acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance in compliance with Montana state law.
• Must pass a background check designed to protect the interests of women and children served by YWCA programs.
