Job summary

Sci-Rec is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations for a South Florida-based, multi-site clinical research network. This hands-on leadership role reports to the President/CEO and shapes how the network scales across sites.

You will lead daily operations, coach Site Managers, drive enrollment and retention, and standardize workflows to support rapid growth. Regular travel to South Florida locations and national sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of clinical research experience, preferably in site operations.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in clinical research or healthcare operations.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and site operations.
• Multi-site, CNS or behavioral health, or SMO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance across multiple research sites.
• Coach and support Site Managers and clinical research teams.
• Drive enrollment, screening, visit completion, and retention results.
• Standardize workflows and build scalable processes as the network grows.
• Prepare sites for sponsor visits, audits, and inspections.
• Partner with the Medical Director and executive team.
• Help launch new locations and expand into new therapeutic areas and markets.
