Proclinical is seeking an Area Director of Clinical Operations to provide strategic leadership and oversee multi-site studies across the assigned region. You will drive timelines, budgets, and quality while partnering with site leadership and sponsor-CRO teams.

Occasional travel will be required to ensure seamless study execution and regulatory compliance. Lead cross-functional coordination, manage risks, and optimize resources to meet enrollment milestones and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, project management methodologies, and clinical research operations.
• Expertise in sponsor engagement, site management, and risk mitigation.
• Proven leadership in multi-site operations and staff development.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in clinical research, including supervisory or management roles.
• Willingness to travel, including air travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead project management for assigned studies, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across site operations, regulatory, quality, and sponsor-CRO interactions.
• Monitor study performance; proactively address enrollment, timelines, and revenue barriers.
• Oversee operational planning for high-priority, multi-site studies with resource allocation.
• Drive accountability for area performance; achieve enrollment milestones and revenue targets.
• Evaluate site performance using KPIs and dashboards; identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with site leadership to develop corrective action plans for underperforming studies.
• Ensure sites have staffing, training, equipment, and resources to execute studies.
• Provide oversight of study execution, including visits, data entry, and query resolution.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks; uphold quality and compliance standards.
• Report regularly to executive leadership on area performance, risks, and growth.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
