The role leads a large advising Center serving 2,500+ undergraduate students, prioritizing high-quality advising, student success initiatives, and proactive strategies to promote retention and degree completion.

The Director will oversee advising operations, set policies, collaborate with faculty on curricular alignment, and advocate for student needs within university

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university; CHEA recognition preferred.
• Five years of professional work experience in academic advising.
• Five years of supervisory experience in advising/student success.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to a large advising Center.
• Lead a diverse team of staff to promote student success and retention.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to align advising with curricular changes and accreditation requirements.
• Represent the Advising Center at university committees and events and advocate for student needs.
