Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of UCLA in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Executive Director to lead the Master of Quantitative Economics (MQE) program, directing industry engagement, experiential learning, and graduate career development.

Reporting to the Dean of Social Sciences, the role requires strategic planning, budget stewardship, and strong partnerships with employers, alumni, and campus leadership to ensure program growth, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• PhD or terminal degree in education, economics, business or related field (Required).
• Extensive experience in academic program management or equivalent (Required).
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the MQE program and division-wide initiatives.
• Lead planning, administration, continuous improvement, and long-term growth of the MQE program.
• Oversee budget, staffing, marketing, communications, technology, and program assessment.
• Develop partnerships with employers, alumni, and external stakeholders to support growth and career outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty leadership and campus partners to strengthen curriculum and learning experiences (Required).
