Qualifications

• 2 years job-related experience (Required)
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with staff, faculty, administrators, students, and the public from various backgrounds (Required)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, to faculty, staff, students, and individuals at various organizational levels (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to compose, edit and proofread reports, memos and other correspondence (Required)
• Skill in handling confidential matters and maintaining confidential student files with tact and integrity (Required)
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and in a team (Required)
• Familiarity with UCLA campus systems and Graduate Division policies (Preferred)
• Skill in using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Required)
• Familiarity with Slate and Salesforce and graphic design tools (Required)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and evenings (Required)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and enrollment management for MQE students
• Oversee program admissions and track acceptance rates
• Plan and manage special events and programs
• Direct admissions process and monitor progress toward degree
• Serve as main contact for prospective and incoming students
• Support student recruitment, enrollment, and career services
• Prepare reports, memos and market research summaries for MQE leadership
• Assist Chair and MQE Faculty Director with tracking student outcomes
